I'm Sadie, a Canadian Interior Designer who embarked on a transformative journey in 2017 when I relocated to Mexico with my Mother.
We bought a charming older house and spent the next two years designing and remodeling it into our contemporary Mexican dream house we aptly named, "Casa Sueño."
I fell head over heels for elements of design here; textiles, patterns, tiles, artisanal wares, and natural materials.
Driven by my passion for design, I pursued my degree in Interior Design at the prestigious New York Institute of Art and Design. I've been designing professionally here ever since.
My design philosophy revolves around creating contemporary spaces that encompass a sense of calm, belonging, and sparks of joy.
Guided by the principle of "less is more," I prioritize functionality without compromising on comfort or beauty.
I enjoy blending natural materials and a neutral color palette with playful splashes of color, texture and patterns.
That way we create a space which maintains a light-filled, airy appeal paired with visual intrigue.
I strongly believe in actively listening to my clients' unique stories, understanding their lifestyle, needs, and preferences.
Ultimately it isn't about what I like, it's about listening to and interpreting what You like (or dislike!) in order to create a beautiful and functional design that makes you love being at home and sharing it with others.
